Second STIM appeal of BioMar's Intro Tuning is rejected

The Oslo County Court concluded just before Christmas 2020 that BioMar's smoltification feed Intro Tuning does not infringe STIM's new European patent, which was granted in the summer of 2020, and therefore rejected STIM's demand that a ban be placed on the sale of Intro Tuning.

Terje Sæther receives the Norwegian medal for Long and Faithfull Service

Terje Sæther has worked for BioMar Norway in positions within R&D and Marketing for more than 30 years and this year sees him entering retirement. Terje is well recognised across the BioMar world for his contributions to the development and promotion of some of BioMar’s well respected products and brands. Back in 1992 he spearheaded Bio-Optimal the first in the revolutionary growth-feeds before developing BioMar’s first range of preventive health-feeds called SMARTfeed. He was also part of the creation of BioSustain, the aquaculture industry’s first feed sustainability program and more recently BioMar’s Pigment Performance Technology.

The letter of intent was signed between feed producer BioMar and Lighthouse Finance owned Quality Salmon Sotenäs AB in November 2020.
